I have somewhat similar issue with kalendar absolutely dis-functional (it even
kills Kontakt with no message).

The Akonadi test has few errors.

1. Error in mysql:

Version: '5.1.37-1ubuntu5-log' socket:
'/home/gkourtev/.local/share/akonadi/db_misc/mysql.socket' port: 0 (Ubuntu)

2. Nepomuk service is not registred in D-Bus (this does not mean anything for
an average user like me).
