Hi Nigel,

I use Karmic Koala (9.10) after Intrepid.
And I am veryhappy with this system. Internet access is very fast.
F.e. I had to download some software for my handy (Samsung).
Win XP was very slow with 30-40 KB/s. Karmic Koala's transfer rate was
2 MB/s!
When I have to download another system (ftp or http) I get 4 GB in 45 min.
It's really fast!

I use a NOTEBOOK (Thinkpad), provider 1&1, 16MBit/s. flat rate.
It is not a static address.

Mario
