Ahh, no, its rpm based and an offshoot of Mandriva.

Below the text entry window, there is an 'advanced' text button, clicking 
on it opens up another small checkbox menu, and the first item is for you to 
be notified whenever a reply to one of your posts is made.  And it does work 
provided you logged in with a valid email addy.

I would expect the std linux tools would work just fine. I haven't 
personally tested it myself because the floppy format I would be interested 
in is a 256 byte sector format, and the FDC chip on this ASUS M2N-SLI-
Deluxe mobo is not capable tof functioning in 256 byte/sector mode. 512 
byte 'pc' modes work just fine.
