Isn't there a User Group in your locale? Invariably someone in the Group 
will have a fast connection and would be happy to burn a CD for you 
provided you replace it with a blank disc.

Or even someone on this list who lives close by to you who could do this 
is asked politely?

I used to cycle over to where Andrew Tridgwell worked and he would burn 
a copy of the distro on the spot while I waited :-) .
