Well, Kaffeine-KDE4 is not nearly customisable enough - for example, I
can't tell it I only have 4.0 surround (rather than 5.1) so it'll
downmix the streams - instead it simply drops a few. Also, it appears to
be less reliable, and doesn't support GStreamer (which is sometimes
useful for more obscure formats). It seems to be a very bad case of KDE4
feature loss...

Sorry - I'm using terrestrial, in the UK, with the Hannington transmitter.

I have tried Analogue terrestrial via tvtime and it works flawlessly, so
it's not a signal issue.
