A Grub

Yes, Perry, I also think that's also the case.

Heh heh heh, sometimes it's dangerous to use computer translation like
google translation. The meaning may not be what is intended.
I thought of sending to your direct mail about 2 stories that
illustrates this. But since I inadvertently sent Bas a message through
this mailing list, what the heck, might as well....
[story1]
Henry Gurney, the guy that messed up Palestine was sent here (Malaya), -
of course he messed up again, but the people here succeeded what the
israeli's did not, he was assassinated here, in a story worthy of a
military discourse - In a village, he wanted to say what a big shame
he had in not speaking the local language after so many years.
He said "Kemaluan saya sangat besar"
What he should say is " Saya sangat malu"
Perry, do the google translation. Too bad, he did not have google
translation then....
note : prefix 'ke' and suffix 'an' transform verb to noun.
curi ----> steal
kecurian ----> theft
By the way, malay is not my native language.
[Story2]
I often travel to indonesia, I am forced to speak indonesian as some
indonesians cannot speak other languages. Malay and Indonesian languages
is like, say portuguese and spanish; the semblance is there, but
sometimes the meaning may be ...like what henry gurney experienced.
Oh, I cannot continue... the COC does not allow <chuckle> <chuckle>..
I am already laughing before the joke's out. Sorry. cannot continue....
By the way, what you said above in malay means...
You need many profits.
Good Luck! - (I think you mean this) - Goh Lip
