I've found now that when I run Konsole, it comes up at my home directory 
and not my Documents directory.  Since gnome-terminal and gvim both show 
up in Documents, I'm assuming it's a configuration within the gnome 
desktop somewhere.  I'll go login that way and see what I can find.
