Brian,

I have solved the problem of running the yahoo messenger 9 within wind by
following your instruct within a terminal window $ wine setup.exe,
it worked to a stage of installing the product but I didnt follow
thru as tested on my
dual boot Kubuntu/xp pro sp3 and it messed up bad, on the xp pro, so
decided not to
install and just use kmess
