Mouse is opening desktop menus without a mouse click

Ah! It's USB. I rebooted again and the problem went away. So, my little
buddy has been granted a reprieve and the Universe is running in greased
grooves. PLUS! I found little cigars for $1.19 a pack. That, my
computer, my pickup truck and a log chain ...it just doesn't get any
better. By optical I meant it has a laser instead of a ball.
What's weird is that after last night's upgrade, I found I had a second
panel at the top of my screen. It was transparent and the only way I
noticed it was that the top of a terminal window would not go to the
very top of my screen. There was about 3/8" of a gap. I clicked on that
gap and got a panel menu. I got rid of that. Everything is good now. Ric
