Grub2: Will testing the Karmic beta give me trouble with my daily driver?

I have two boot partitions on my laptop: one for my daily driver
(essential for work and studies) and another for testing new distros
and triaging bugs. Now that Karmic is using Grub2, will installing it
on my non-essential boot partition give me any troubles booting into
my daily driver partition?
