You guys may not want me back. Weird things are happening again.

Since a recent unknown crash, I am finally up and running like a man on
crutches. I just attempted to install upgrades the way I normally do using
the konsole, and I got the following:

steven at steven-desktop:~$ sudo apt-get install upgrades
[sudo] password for steven:
E: Type '*********' is not known on line 56 in source list
/etc/apt/sources.list
E: The list of sources could not be read.
steven at steven-desktop:~$ kdesudo apt-get install upgrades

E: Type '*********' is not known on line 56 in source list
/etc/apt/sources.list
E: The list of sources could not be read.

Where the asterics are is my password. I used asterics, however it actually
has my password typed out as it is. Additionally, I may not have noticed
accurately, but my identity should read as:
steven at Yeshua:~ $, and here it reads:
steven at steven-desktop:~$

In the past, I have always used sudo, but recently I have been told I should
be using kdesudo, so I tried both and nothing happened.

I have a post preceding this one with strange happenings using KpackageKit as
unusual as this. I really don't blame Nepal. This kind of stuff just keeps on
coming; I haven't a clue why.
