KDE4.3 beta issues

Yes, sorry, should really have looked at the subject, but my only
comment was about Dragonplayer replacing Kaffeine, and that has
happened quite some time ago already.

I strongly agree with that. Unless somebody really is savy with
handling beta it should not be installed.

Yes, I have, it is in the 'most experimental' par of the kubuntu-ppa, BTW

Although there has been an initial announcement of it's availability,
we choose to take this off the kubuntu.org website for Jaunty, as
there were still a lot of unsolved package dependencies at that time.

This situation has improved, but it still is beta software and hence
not recommended for the average user. The packages were never gone
from the PPA though, just the announcement from the website. For those
who visit the #kubuntu channel on irc.freenode.net, there is a warning
in the /topic.

Currently the Ubuntu Developer Summit in Barcelona is under way and
everybody is extremely busy with developer conferences and documents
and work sessions which is extremely time intensive, so do not expect
major improvements on packages this week.
