KDE4.3 beta issues

I know - and I've said the same thing within the last 24 hours :-)

Well, yes, I think it is.  _Everybody_ knew it wasn't ready for Kubuntu, but 
Kubuntu included it - not because that's their mission plan - but as near as 
I can tell because they _didn't_ include the latest and greatest in 8.04 
(because there was no KDE4 ready for the LTS).

So yes, I chose (after initially installing Intrepid) to run Hardy until 
Jaunty came along.

Shades of the environment that got the Ubuntu steamroller moving in the 
first place - Debian Sarge had taken so long, that everybody wanted a new 
Debian, no matter what.  KDE bugfixes have languished for years under the 
promise of KDE4.
