How to turn off IPV6

Just tested it on a stock kernel (2.6.28-11#42) and I cannot disable
Ipv6 at all. Nor running sysctl, nor putting it on /etc/sysctl.conf,
not echoing 1 to /proc/sys/net/ipv6/conf/all/disable_ipv6.

Can you confirm this is working for you? If you run "ifconfig | grep
inet6" you get nothing?
Which kernel are you running? Can you try removing the sysctl line
from your machine and see if this brings ipv6 back to you? (to make
sure its not being disabled by other things).
