No picture in movies

Hi

Since I upgraded from 8.04 to 9.04 the picture in AVI and WMV (and probably 
others) got jagged and jerky like the movie was turned on and off constantly. I 
messed a little around with xine parameters without things getting any better 
so I reinstalled libxine and kaffeine and deleted the local xine and kaffeine 
configs but to no avail. Now all I get is sound and a blue screen :-( Gets 
boring in a while.


lspci|grep VGA
says:
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 82865G Integrated 
Graphics Controller (rev 02)

Any ideas on what to do?
