upgrade 8.04 -> 9.04+kde3: how?

Context menus are definitely something that can be addressed at the distro 
level as all these right-click menus are easily created and/or modified(1). I 
am not sure why we don't have more in Kubuntu, but I can bring it up. Which 
ones specifically do you use a lot?

In the meantime, there are a number of these service menus can be found on 
kde-look.org (2) and there is a ppa that contains a number of them packaged 
for Kubuntu (3) as well as a lot of interesting plasmoids not available in the 
normal repos

Is this similar to the view you get in Dolphin's right side pane when 
performing the same action there?
