A friend of mine bought an Acer Aspire One 150 with linpus lite for £199. He
didn't get on with it LL so I installed Intrepid on it for him, but he didn't
get on with that either(he is 83)so I installed XP on it for him, he was happy
for a day, then the screen went totally blank on him, so I told him to contact
Acer. Acer had it picked up, fixed and sent back to him in 3 days at no charge.
They replaced the BIOS flash memory, his XP was still there.
So if I get a netbook I shall certainly look at what Acer have got.
