Sounds like a plan. Actually even just 1GB should be fine for testing. The
advantage of junker testing PC's is the ability to use you other (working)
PC to find stuff online and you can freely reinstall/format as needed. 

I imagine people will be interested in the results just so long as there's
no need for rescue.

{Snort} - remember when 512K was a huge amount of memory ...

You too Steven, due to large RL commitments I only erratically monitor this
list which is why I pop on and off.

Hope you get that dizzyness and nausea checked out soon, it sounds nasty.
