Problem with Live CD.

Steven,
Karmic is NOT on live CD, it is alternate install.
Also, since you've made many changes, besides making sure that your bios 
boot from cd before booting from hdd, some computers insist you enter 
some key (usually 'enter', heh heh), otherwise it will boot from hdd.
