How do I turn off the 'do you really want to remove the trash' warning in kmail.

Right - here it is.

Open Konqueror, "Settings", "Configure Konqueror".  The first panel
is "Behaviour", which has check boxes for asking for confirmation for "Move
to trash" and "Delete".  Clear either or both.
