Were Intrepid updates the reason I lost my sound on the Intrepid partition?

It is not checked.  That is the first thing I checked, and continue to check 
periodically to confirm.

I am pretty sure it is you I answered my trouble in doing that in a previous 
email on this subject.  I only say that because sometimes someone will step in 
and comment, and I notice another name on the response, from the one on the 
incoming email.  It is why I always sign my comments.
