You may be right Jonas, I have had difficulties with Dragon too, but one thing
that has changed in my choices over the past 3 years since using Linux, is
hearing from the experts to give the Kubuntu KDE choices a chance.
I since have replaced Firefox with Konqueror, Thunderbird with Kmail, and with
my change to Intrepid, Dragon Player, I have found some problems, but some
features you only find by having two of the other players. I installed
Kaffeine, a very stable player for a while, but it indicated similar problems
as Dragon, so I think much of the problem is still to be worked out within KDE
and perhaps not Dragon.
i have gotten to the point where I want to support all the efforts of the
Kubuntu team. In my heart I know that they are always trying to make our
operating system better, and they do it so selflessly. I believe they need us
to use their creations to perfect them and meet their dreams. I want to share
in that experience. I am not smart enough to do the mental investment, but I
am able to point out bugs that help them solve problems. For now, that is all
I can contribute. I still have Firefox on my computer; it has capabilities or
design features I prefer, but I use Konqueror to support the team and use
Firefox only as a backup. I truly am not qualified to give advice, but my
opinion is something I can give. Kubuntu KDE is a kindness and gift to
everyone. I believe those of us who benefit from it's use should help and
support them every way we are able.
This comment is not directed at you Jonas, you are a great supporter of
Kubuntu, and I think KDE, it is just thoughts that come to mind when I read
the post. In my opinion, you Jonas are one of the best parts of the List.
