I have KDE 3.5.10 (Kubuntu 8.04.2) and currently at work and don't have acces to that machine. When
I'm at home, then I can check.
I deleted ~/.vlc folder actually but it didn't help. But I understand, that VLC uses Gnome-like
config storage and perhaps you are right.
I tried also at command line:
vlc --reset-config
....but it didn't help either.
I use also VLC 0.9.8a from C-Korn's repository (written into /etc/apt/sources.list):
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/c-korn/ubuntu hardy main
I even imported that gpg key, what apt warned at command line whe I made update and dist-upgrade:
gpg --keyserver subkeys.pgp.net --recv <key from CLI>
gpg --export --armor <key from CLI> | sudo apt-key add -
But it seems like point isn't in gpg key. I need look at ~/.config/vlc and delete it.
Thanks for information :)
Edmund
