Konsole

Hello list members!

I have just upgraded to 9.04 from 8.04 and now the konsole does not work

It will open, but I have no text in it.  I cannot type anything nor is
anything displayed.

I edited the current profile and tried various combinations of fonts
from the appearance tab, still no luck.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
