Sound problem on HP dv4-1120us

I just installed Kubuntu 9.04 64bit on my HP dv4-1120us laptop. When I
restarted after the installation and the startup sound started playing in
started stuttering and never stopped. I can't play any sounds.

Does anyone have an idea how to fix that?
