Asus ATI Radeon HD 3650 and the fglrx driver problem

Hi,

I have a Asus ATI Radeon HD 3650 and selected the fglrx driver to get
those KDE4 effects.

This driver does not seem to play nice,

Sometimes on booting the screen keeps flashing black then the proper
display then black every 2 -3 seconds,
Other times it works OK but sometimes hesitates.

Its behavior seems totally random between the above two modes.

Is anyone else having this problem ? Any solution ?
