Also very nice and X is 'qps' (qps.kldp.net).
When I have to kill some process (Amarok, most of the time), I type
the first letter of that process, after which only that process is
shown. Selecting the process with the cursor and pressing <del>,
terminates it. 'qps' has a lot of features you can only dream of ...
;-)
