Thanks for the feedback folks, from what I can tell there still may be issues 
- work in progress.

Which should be interesting because I just converted my boot/home partition to 
ext4 :)


Fortunately my home dir lives in a separate subversion server so if things go 
pair shaped I can recover quickly - have done this many times before :)
