Lost Kmenu bar while installing router.

I assume you mean that the panel containing the kmenu won't appear. 
This has happened to me.  What I did was press <alt><f2> to get the "run 
command" dialog, and ran the command "kcontrol" to get the kde control 
center. In the control center click on desktop and then panels.  Then 
click on the hiding tab, select "only hide when a panel-hiding button is 
clicked", then click on "apply".  The panel should appear.  Then set 
things back to the way you want them and click "apply" again.  HTH
