Subject: more admins: how?
Needed to setup a test account with root rights the other day. logging into
that account and going sysadmin mode in kcontrol I got "user unknown to
sudo"
while I explicitly set the account to have admin rights.
What else?
I've done that for my own account at home. Use the system settings
application, go into users. There's a group, I think it's called admin or
something similar, that you add the user to. That did it for me, using
Gutsy. I can just issue sudo commands without having to su - into the
administrator account. Suppose I ought to take it off one day.
