KDE 4.1 Twinview background

I spent a lot of time w/ 4.1 and 4.1.1 with a integrated intel video chip. I haven't looked for a way to span an image, but in my case right clicking on the Desktop allows you to select "Desktop Settings", which can be used to independently control the desktop image for each monitor (depending on which desktop you right click from). I've also found that it was best to make a minimal xorg.conf file and let 4.1.x interact with xrandr without distractions.
