I agree, the OP has something going on all FUBAR'd. Heck, aside from
IRQ's, memory problems, he might have a flaky power supply. If he can
round up the local Linux Posse, and spring for pizza, it might get
really interesting. Worse comes to worse, he might back up a kernel or
two, just to see what happens. This is trouble-shooting with a shot gun.
