I've heard about apt for years, never used it. I found it to be sweet,
everything yum could be but isn't. I never liked YAST as I found it
slow, as you mentioned. I really liked Caldera, back in it's hey-day. It
was "elegant" and fulla nifty apps tailored for business use. Then they
folded. That was sad. It was Ray Norda's intellectual child. Ric
