That is my feeling also but have have played with it for a couple of hours 
each time they do an update.  Still can't use it for anything but it has been 
getting better!  I'm not sure it is actually as bad as Gnome but it is mighty 
close!  You can make the menu system useful which makes it a little better 
but the rest is still not what I'd choose for a working machine.
