Fluxbox and NumLock

I have been using Fluxbox for a while now and I am getting on quite well 
with it. (I am running it on top of Kubuntu Gutsy).

I have noticed that the numlock key is not activated when I startup 
Fluxbox. This was true for Gutsy also, but I have altered that now. (Why 
the default in (k)ununtu is to start with the numlock off is beyond me, 
but that is by the way.)

What I would like to know is, what is the command to switch numlock 
on/off please? If I knew this I could add it to the startup file for 
Fluxbox and numlock would then be on automatically.

Yes, I know that I can easily use the numlock key to switch it on. I am 
not being lazy, it is just that I am always ready to learn something 
new. Can anyone help please?
