Is it me or does Hardy run like a pig?

My first Kubuntu was Fiesty. Since then I've just done complete upgrades 
till 8.10 [ That was a clean install on a seperate hard drive ]. I 
haven't noticed any performance issues with 8.04. In fact if I HAD to 
say one way or the other I would say it's been getting better [ until 
8.10 but given time I'm sure things will straighten out there to. ]. 
I've had FAR fewer issues with 8.04 than I had with Fiesty, and 
everything in between.
