Most likely, but what I have isn't exotic.

This is a clean install of the 32 bit system.

And the fact that I have ATI video and a widescreen LCD is probably part of 
the difference.  None the less, this setup has worked with SLED 10.2, WinXP, 
Ununtu 8.04.1, aand Kubuntu 8.04.
