I use (and very much like) Virtualbox. Not really for anything serious, I'm
trying to teach myself Slackware, playing around with Haiku, stuff like that.
But it's surprisingly snappy, even on my Pentium D desktop with 1Gb of RAM and
Intel graphics. Anyway, here's a couple of good pages to get you started.
