Virtually every distro I have looked at has a "commercial" Linux
release. [ Designed for business use. ] This is their "bread and
butter". The commercial release generally lags a bit behind what most of
us use everyday. SO, in effect "we" are the beta testers for the
commercial release if "we" use the free downloadable releases. "They"
try all the newest stuff out on us before they put it into the
commercial release.
The bottom line is that if you don't want to be a "beta tester" buy the
commercial release.
