I meant copy the output of the command: cat /etc/X11/xorg.conf
and paste it into an email

Alternatively, you can run this command,
cp /etc/X11/xorg.conf > ~/xorg.conf

This will create a copy of the file in your home directory.  Then attach that 
file to an email.
