Printing Problem

Here's  how I did it:

1.) Set up CUPS on Linux comp connected to printer
printer wizard under KDE works a champ for this
2.) Set up other clients to see CUPS server on  your printer machine via, 
again, kde printer wizard.

Honestly, those two steps worked fine for me, without dealing with CUPS 
directly.
