It would appear that on Sep 30, Eberhard Roloff did say:

Thanks for the suggestion Eberhard... One of the things I love about
linux is that there are usually more ways to skin a cat than there are cats ;-)
Actually though I found out how to get krusader set up the way I need it,
configured it's shortcuts to my liking, and replicated this in 3
distributions installed on both my laptop and my desktop...
So I think (since I'm already fond of it) I'll stick with krusader.
Actually I still use mc, but now I use krusader for most user level file
management. And when I need a root shell I sudo mc which means that
anytime I cycle through my windows and land inside the distinctive
mc konsole interface, I now immediately lift my hands off the keyboard and
think about what I'm about to do with it before I continue... (Always a
good idea when you switch to a root shell.) Before Krusader, I had so
many user mc shells open so much of the time that I sometimes started to
use a root mc session for user land stuff... Now it's all so much
better (safer too) !
