Firefox 3.0.4 does not work if istalled with adept

Friends,

I've got interesting issues related to Firefox web browser.  If I got it 
installed through adept, it does not work at all.  When launched, the firefox 
process gets into the process list, but the program does not work. 

If I got it downloaded from internet and installed, it works just fine.  Any 
ideas how this can be solved so I ca use adept for installing it and future 
update?

In either cases the version is firefox 3.0.4=
