So it was not KDE that forced Ubuntu to offer 8.10 with solely KDE 4.
Who forced them?

Hm...
I found that the problem is not with anyone beginning to use Linux. They 
are simply amazed how KDE 4 handles things smartly.

The only problem is with people that used KDE for years, coming from KDE 
3.5 to KDE 4. they are refusing to easily accept, hmmm..., revolutionary 
change.
