K3B in Hardy borked for burning Intrepid ISO file?

I recall a discussion on this forum about burning the new Intrepid iso
file to disk from a Hardy installation
with K3B or Brasero. Now that I have tried it with K3B, I have been
getting a persistent error that says that the data in the iso and the
burn are different.
I have tried slow (8x) speed and also a DVD burn , all to no avail.

I looked at the message trail and could see not resolution or did I miss it?
Or are the burns in fact OK?

Must I go to  Windoze and use Nero or Roxio??
