KDE's native bluetooth support is broken in Intrepid. Please check this bug
report:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/280997
Some people commenting on that bug case have reported success using Gnome's
framework to use bluetooth.
The only suggestion I have is therefore to install the gnome tools for it.
OTOH I have to say that I didn't manage to get a stable connection to my
phone in order to successfully finish a larger-than-usual download of
pictures from it. The gnome tools hanged after a certain number of pictures.
Though I don't know if the problem lies within gnome, or at bluez.
Kind regards,
