Dear Matt,

Everything went so well, I replied with a solved. It still has
problems. The Kmail offering attached to the dropdown of Kmenu. It
didn't attach to the Internet option; it showed as the first item of the
dropdown. I like that. Nonetheless, when I click on it, nothing
happens; nothing opens.

I then opened Adept Package Manager and removed Kmail, re-booted and
installed Kmail. It did not appear under Internet; it also did not open
with the button you helped me put on Kmenu.

I then purged Kmail and rebooted, reinstalled Kmail and got the same
result. I am at a loss what to try next. Any ideas?
