Well, this is one of many ways to (supposedly) get KDE3 onto Intrepid.
I had a fresh Intrepid installation and tried this method and it totally hosed
it. No great loss because it was a test machine anyway and I wasn't using
it.
But I don't really think I want to go and install Hardy and then upgrade to
Intrepid and then try to regress to KDE3.
I'll just wait for KDE4 to become usable or go to another distro.
I too think that the choice of KDE4 was a bad one. No, don't do any
development on KDE 3 for kubuntu. That would waste resources. But have a
little sympathy for your users.....
They didn't.
