I haven't even tried to boot with the monitor connected. At first, I
was just turning the system on because I was to that point in
installation. I wanted to see how noisy the case fans were; there were
three speeds to choose from. They turned on OK, but I noticed the Heat
Sink fan not turning; that concerned me. Somewhere I heard that without
proper cooling these Quad cores heat very fast. I can't believe the
help I am getting. I am very grateful. I do know that the motherboard
does control fan speed on all fans. You have to configure that, but it
is available for all fans. I plan to do that once set up with the OS
installed. I just don't want to move before I am sure I can't hurt
anything. I am almost there, right now. Most everyone is in
agreement. Thanks for taking the time to help me. I was really
concerned when it first happened. Not so more anymore.
