Backing up.

Don't worry about it.  Threads wander, tempers flare, and the list
continues.  It's not even true that the thread hasn't been about
backing up for a long time - we're still discussing various backup
methods, but it's really pointless to worry that somebody will come
into the middle of the thread and not find anything about backups.  You
just can't do that, and newbies have to learn to use Google or other archives to find the beginnings of threads.
